Qualified Team Lead 

Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality care and education while supporting and inspiring a team?

Little Trees Hucclecote is seeking a qualified Team Lead on a temporary contact to join our warm and supportive nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is ready to take on additional responsibility and help lead a room and wider team to deliver outstanding experiences for children and families.

About the Role

As Team Lead, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting the Nursery Management Team in maintaining high standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading by example and modelling excellent early years practice
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of your room/team
  • Ensuring high standards of care, learning, and development for all children
  • Supporting planning in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Building strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Supporting staff development and mentoring team members
  • Maintaining safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
  • Contributing to creating a positive, nurturing environment for children and staff

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude
  • Passion for providing exceptional care and education
