Qualified Team Lead

Little Trees Hucclecote is seeking a qualified Team Lead on a temporary contact to join our warm and supportive nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is ready to take on additional responsibility and help lead a room and wider team to deliver outstanding experiences for children and families.
About the Role
As Team Lead, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting the Nursery Management Team in maintaining high standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading by example and modelling excellent early years practice
- Supporting the day-to-day running of your room/team
- Ensuring high standards of care, learning, and development for all children
- Supporting planning in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Building strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Supporting staff development and mentoring team members
- Maintaining safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
- Contributing to creating a positive, nurturing environment for children and staff
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude
- Passion for providing exceptional care and education
