Little Trees Tewkesbury Day Nursery offers a caring and welcoming environment, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating space for every child.

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Housekeeper to join our friendly team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our setting.

As our Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in keeping the nursery environment clean, safe and well-presented for children, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery
  • Clean play areas, toilets, kitchen and staff areas daily
  • Follow cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures
  • Support infection control and hygiene routines in line with nursery policies
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored safely
  • Carry out laundry duties (e.g. bedding)
  • Dispose of waste appropriately and safely
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning processes
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking
  • Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of safeguarding and commitment to child safety
