The vacancy
The Dean Close Kingham Hill School are looking to appoint a Teacher of Modern Foreign Language, specialising in teaching French and Spanish. This is an exciting opportunity to teach both languages up to A Level, inspiring a love of languages and cultural understanding in our students.
For candidates with suitable experience, there may also be the opportunity to teach Business Studies.
As part of our MFL team, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3–5.
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, ensuring every learner fulfils their potential.
- Support the holistic development and wellbeing of pupils through excellent pastoral care.
- Contribute to co-curricular programmes, school trips, and language‑based enrichment.
The successful candidate with have a degree in French and/or Spanish, with strong subject knowledge in both languages up to A Level.
