This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Dean Close Foundation are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our Pre-Prep team. Working closely with the existing team of teachers, the successful candidate will deliver outstanding teaching and learning across Key Stage 1.

The role involves planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons, supporting pupils of all abilities—including those with high learning potential and those requiring additional support—and fostering a safe, stimulating classroom environment. The successful candidate will monitor pupil progress carefully, contribute to assessment and reporting, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

In addition to academic responsibilities, the role includes pastoral care, safeguarding duties, participation in the wider life of the school (including clubs and duties), and supporting both day and boarding pupils.

We are looking for a well-organised, committed graduate with relevant experience, a passion for inspiring a lifelong love of learning, strong communication skills, and a willingness to contribute fully to the Christian ethos and wider community of the school.
