Early Years Assistant Little Trees Hucclecote

Part-Time ¦ Permanent ¦ up to £12.41/hour ¦ Monday–Friday, 11am–3pm or Flexible Hours

Dean Close Little Trees are looking for a for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join our friendly team at our well-established setting in Hucclecote

You’ll help create a safe, stimulating environment where children aged 0–5 can flourish—supporting their learning, play, and personal development.

Whether you're helping with mealtimes, setting up engaging activities, or offering a comforting presence, your role will be vital in shaping young lives. Other responsibilities include:

· Supporting children’s care and learning during lunchtime and early afternoon

· Creating a warm, inclusive atmosphere indoors and outdoors

· Assisting with routines, activities, and behaviour management

· Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

· Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are met

What you’ll need:

· A genuine passion for working with children

· Willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions

· An understanding of safeguarding and commitment to children’s wellbeing

· A Level 2 Early Years qualification (preferred, but not essential)

· Enhanced DBS certificate and satisfactory references (required before starting)
