Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a Facilities Duty Manager to support our Foundation facilities department and school. This is a part time position working 20 hours per week, during term time only.

Working alongside our Foundation Facilities manager, You will be responsible for supervising the facilities, managing sports kits, and overseeing commercial lets outside of school hours. Other roles and responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the sports hall, gym and other school facilities,
  • Preparing facilities for a variety of users
  • Managing the transition between school and commercial use.
  • Responding to maintenance issues and reporting them promptly.
  • Providing a welcoming and positive experience for all users of the facilities.
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner. 
  • Providing support for Foundation events, as occasionally requested.

This role would suit a candidate who has a passion for sports and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. A background in sports, coaching or gym supervision would be an advantage.
