Ministry and Leadership Trainee

The Vacancy
Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a new Ministry and Leadership Trainee for our Prep School, starting in January 2025. This is a full-time role, working 45 hours per week, including evening and weekend commitments, during term time only.
The position is divided into three areas:
- Chaplaincy
- Attending weekly Chaplaincy Team meetings for training and encouragement.
- Speaking at Assemblies and Services (with Support and Training)
- Boarding House
- Supporting our Housemasters and Housemistress with the daily lives of our boarding pupils, including during the evening and during free time.
- Prep School Support
- Assisting teaching staff within the classroom.
- Assistant the teaching and coaching staff during PE & Games and supervising pupils during swimming.
- Break time supervision
- Afterschool clubs, including our Christian Unions
This is an exciting position Gap Year position would be suited to a new graduate or a school leaver looking for a unique role in its scope and purpose in the context of a great community where fun, fellowship and faith are highly valued.
